Auto Repair in Windsor

Customer service is great,I take my two cars here for resonably priced smog test as often as DMV tels me too. They always get me in same day and wait time is not bad at all.4 stars for repair prices beeing a bit high.

Really knowledgeable and incredibly nice staff. Great waiting room. I had a brake inspection smog and lamp inspection here and I am so happy I went. I saved over 100 bucks just driving from ukiah to Windsor for these tests...and if I was to fail any of them they were 20 bucks to re test vs if I fail in ukiah I pay all over again!!! I would trust these people with my car and that's rare

This place saved our ass. A group of friends and I were driving hundreds of miles back home from a convention when our brakes went out, leaving us basically stranded in town, unable to drive any longer. Some of my friends were starting classes the next day and really needed to be back in town that night. One of us had AAA so we got a tow to Drive Rite and they got to inspecting the vehicle. Since it was late afternoon on a holiday, a lot of places were closed or closing soon. They decided to stay open until they could help us. Since we would need a part that they didn't have on hand, and the shop that had it was closed, they offered a very (very) cheap rental car (that turned into a rental SUV) for us to get back that night. Then they took us through the things that needed repairing. They were very knowledgeable and helpful and got us safely through a bad situation. I feel like they could have easily taken advantage of us. Being out of town with a broke down car on a holiday, but they went out of their way to make sure we'd get home on time and have the vehicle ready to safely drive back home the next day. They also have a very clean, nice waiting room with comfortable chairs and wifi.

Good service at a fair price. I've been to Drive Rite several times. They smog my old truck every two years and were very helpful when I had a flat tire last month. Drive Rite is a good neighbor, too.

First time here and will be back. Awesome service. Place is super clean. Will get my car serviced next time (just had a smog check) and will update after that.

Hari has taken care of my cars for 20 years. I would not let let any other local mechanic under my hood. He has kept my 2001 Honda running beautifully for 15 years. He is honest about what you need and what you don't need. And rare among mechanics, a delight to deal with.

Drive Rite worked hard to make me happy. They went the extra mile for me.

Called last week and got a quote, then also paid a visit on my way home. They are very friendly, very clean, met Hari the owner, I made an appointment but had to cancel today as I am too busy to go in.They were fine with that and did not seem upset, I will reschedule.

The best and most trustworthy repair shop ever!! I have been coming to Drive Rite for 5 years, my father for 10+ years, and we have always had the best experiences here. The owner, Hari, is wonderful, and great at explaining complex car procedures to a novice like me. He has a fabulous staff that know you by name and are always patient, accommodating and extremely helpful. I really cannot say enough nice things about Drive Rite. (Thank you Patty and Brandon!)
