Major engine repair is a lengthy process. The motor has two sections, one upper and the other lower. Both sections are bolted together with a gasket in between. Majority of the time upper part of the motor is repaired. Lower portion of the motor repair is costly and requires a considerable decision before it is repaired. With motors over 150K miles major motor repair may not be cost effective. Our most common major engine repairs are replacement of head gaskets, timing chains and valves renewal.
